E ' was a great success and has received a lot of success the first carnival in the Town of Tropea, organized by the neo-local authority, Department of Culture, Public Education, Sport and Entertainment, in collaboration with the Pro Loco and the Elementary School Parghelia with the leader prof. Antonio Fiumara.
The many school children, accompanied by their teachers and mothers, starting from the premises of the school went through the village streets with their colorful masks. Each class was assigned a subject relating to the theme chosen by the Department on environmental protection along with the teachers, so the children have shown off their beautiful dresses of fruits and vegetables, but also masks that they wanted to raise awareness about the greatest environmental protection, with particular reference to collection, that the administration has pursued for some years. He led the demonstration in the square, accompanied by Latin music, Saverio music that for nearly five hours, entertained and has coordinated the show which saw involvement in the dances of all presenti.La event was enhanced by ' exhibition with Latin American music of the Dark Angels, a group of talented dancers and rock out with that face children and adults. Much happiness and launch confetti and streamers for a joint public even from nearby Tropea to join the party. For the occasion, the teacher Cuturello Francis has created a painting of a subject that has been given to the carnival to commemorate the participation of primary school teacher Cuturello Parghelia.Lo same, the day before, as Chairman of the Leisure Club S. Gerardo has organized a carnival in the village of Fitili, which has been combined with a competition for the prize of the best mask, which involved about thirty boys of all ages. The culture, Public Education, Sports and Spectacles, Anna Sambiase, after thanking all participants, said she was very happy with the success of the event and hoped that next year could be repeated with the participation of all citizens and side events that make it richer. On Tuesday, the same mask, featuring the theme of the environment, marched to the Carnival of Tropea, on the streets of the city, dall'Ascot organized under the patronage of the Tourism of the Province of Vibo Valentia.
The proceeds from the raffle that took place, was donated to charity for child victims of the earthquake that struck the island of Haiti.
